Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me. Please keep in mind that I’m not a developer/coder at all.
For several months now, my website’s bounce rate has been way too low. Our bounce rate is quite unrealistic (around or below 1%). I’ve read online that it’s basically impossible to have a bounce rate this low (I’ve attached screenshots of both Monster Insights and Google Analytics)…so we’re not getting reliable info. Since I did input a new code back in the fall due to an update in Analytics, I had the theme developer double check that Google Analytics isn’t installed twice, and it’s not. He suggested “Maybe it’s a cache issue. Try to disable the WP Rocket plugin.” So I disabled that plug-in back in November, hoping that I would see a change over time, but there’s been no change in the bounce rate info I’m getting. We also had the website “sped up” around that time, so I asked the person we hired to do that to look into it to see if there was a problem there, but also no luck. I don’t know what else to do at this point, but certainly want to get back to getting reliable info.
