Six years ago I started work on a public records project idea. After several days coding, I wondered for some reason how far back the undo history was on the IDE.

Surprisingly, it went all the way back to the beginning of the file.

I decided to replay the undo history and take a video of it thinking “this is pretty cool”.

That code turned out to be the start of what would later become judyrecords, which today is the largest search engine of United States court cases on the Internet.

    Hardware on [stats page](https://www.judyrecords.com/stats).

    Why from a test method?

So are you scraping to collect the data, and then searching on that? Or are you forwarding the searching on to a variety of apis?

Very cool video. Relaxing to watch.

edit: Oh, I actually just saw the other post on /r/programming which answers what I was mostly wondering about, which was that you use MySQL + Elastic. Very cool.
