    Very cool.

    I tried this approach in a project a year ago but it was only really usable for very basic stuff. Backend / server-side models don’t always map exactly 1:1 to your client representation, not if things get more complex.

    A completely different approach, but once the project grew I found this a better fit, also in this context there was a GraphQL API: use Apollo GraphQL tools to generate TypeScript types from GraphQL; worked out better in the end.

    This would be really useful in a lot of projects, thanks for building and open sourcing.

    Have you got a roadmap for improvements? If so, my vote would be for adding tests – I’d be concerned about relying on a third-party dependency which didn’t have them.
